INTERIOR DESIGN + DECORATION
Assistance in minor renovations for homes and small businesses. This includes conceptual floor plans, space planning, kitchen and bathroom design, custom designed furniture and joinery, selection of materials and finishes, furniture, lighting and soft furnishings. Colour consultation and lighting design for interior and exterior areas.
FURNISH ONLY
Selection of unique and functional furniture, lighting, rugs, art and soft furnishings in a style tailored to you. Items are sourced from Trade and Wholesale agencies, providing you with an extensive range of furnishings to select from. A portion of the Trade price is passed on to you, while you benefit from expert advice, with guidance on furniture placement, scale, proportion and aesthetic.
DESIGNER FOR A DAY
You have done most of the hard work, selecting images, maybe even samples, but you are unsure where to take things from here. Overwhelmed with Pinterest, teasing you with different styles of interiors...that you love. This is where I come in and we refine your ideas and project intent. We talk through your findings and we make it work for your space. You will have my very honest opinions and on the spot ideas. You will save time on further Google searches and I will create a list of resources and suggestions.
Stage One
OUR MEETING
No project is too small or too big - every interior is unique! We make time to meet and discuss your project, aims and priorities for the space, including time frames, budget and design stages for me to work towards. This initial meeting is complementary and lasts no more than an hour. There are various design packages available from a brainstorm, to complete projects including procurement and management.
Stage Two
CONCEPT DESIGN
Following our meeting, I will send an outlined brief and a scope of work for the project. This is teamed with a fee proposal which describes the stages of the project.​ You are then able to decide whether we go ahead with all stages, or only some stages of the project. Some clients are happy with just concepts and they will continue to source the products, tradespeople and follow the designed ideas. Others prefer to hand it over to me and I make the magic happen.
Stage Three
 DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
Sounds daunting? It certainly isn't. This stage is where we go through the concepts in detail and revise all plans, elevations, finishes selections and ideas. We can make changes and experiment from here. I will also order finishes samples and we might even go to showrooms together to see products and make selections there. This takes time but my number one goal is to ensure we bring your dream interior to life!
Stage Four
ACTION
We have samples, plans, joinery details, furnishing and furniture selections confirmed and ordered. Here, I either hand over the plans for you to complete, or I call the plan into action myself, coordinating the project from start to finish, including the final details and zhuzh!
At the end of the day, I ensure that everyone is happy and that their new space meets your expectations!
